System Design refers to the layout, component selection, and integration plan prepared by Egaragesystems for a specific garage or storage facility. It does not include structural modifications to the building itself unless explicitly stated in the project agreement.
Automation Strategies cover the use of sensors, motors, controllers, and software to enable remote or automatic operation of doors, lighting, climate, and security features. These strategies assume a stable power supply and internet connection at the client site. Egaragesystems is not responsible for outages caused by third‑party utility or network failures.
Space Optimization involves recommendations for racking, shelving, vertical lifts, and workflow layout to improve usable capacity and retrieval efficiency. All recommendations are based on the dimensions and load‑bearing data provided by the client. Egaragesystems does not guarantee specific percentage gains without an on‑site audit.
Residential Garage Automation is designed for single‑family homes and townhouses. It includes motion sensors, automated doors, and climate control integration. This service does not cover multi‑unit apartment complexes or shared parking structures unless separately quoted.
Commercial Storage Optimization applies to warehouses, depots, and distribution centers. The scope includes racking systems, vertical lifts, and inventory tracking. Egaragesystems does not provide forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as part of the service.
Security & Access Control Integration covers biometric, keypad, and app‑based entry systems along with camera and alarm integration. All hardware is installed according to manufacturer specifications. Egaragesystems is not liable for security breaches resulting from user‑shared credentials or compromised mobile devices.
Warranty and Liability – Each installed component carries the manufacturer’s standard warranty. Egaragesystems warrants workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning. Any modifications made by the client or third parties after installation void this warranty. Egaragesystems’ total liability is limited to the value of the service contract.
Site Preparation – The client is responsible for providing clear access to all installation areas, including removal of existing obstacles, debris, or stored items. Egaragesystems will not move or store client property without a separate moving agreement.
Intellectual Property – All system designs, software configurations, and documentation prepared by Egaragesystems remain the intellectual property of Egaragesystems unless otherwise agreed in writing. The client receives a non‑transferable license to use the delivered system for its intended purpose.
Governing Law – These definitions and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Johannesburg.
